I've had several requests to show how the feed tube works. It is very simple. Drill a hole in the PVC roughly the size of your watering can (or hose?) and drill some smaller holes in the PVC under ground. Then fill the tube. Viola. There will be some leakage around the Pex, but the water WILL flow downwards and go towards the roots.

I've also had some questions about the trellis system. Here it is, in action.....from the top. As the tomato plant grows, you will gently (GENTLY!!) send it around the string.

The string is sort of hard to see. It is a dark Maroon color

Finally! A stretch of warm (too warm!) days and the tomatoes have risen to the occasion!

The tomatoes are nearly 2 feet tall now.
